Grain and oilseed inspection: quality and quantity

Quality and quantity inspection of wheat, maize, barley, rapeseed, sunflower seed and soyabeans: sampling, sealing, supervision and reporting at vessel, barge, wagon, truck or silo.

All services

The surveyor is at the cargo from the start of the operation to the end: sampling from the flow, blending, dividing, sealing jointly and keeping the record. Grain to GAFTA Sampling Rules No. 124, oilseeds to the FOSFA Code of Practice.

What it covers

  • Sampling throughout the operation, with the number of increments the quantity requires
  • Division and joint sealing, with numbered seals
  • Visual check of the cargo: odour, heating, infestation, foreign matter, wet cargo
  • Record of quantities by hold, wagon or truck
  • Dispatch of samples to the laboratory; counter-sample kept for three months

How it goes

  1. We receive written instructions and confirm.
  2. The surveyor is on site before the start.
  3. Samples, seals, keeps the log.
  4. Samples go to the laboratory in time.
  5. Report issued; analysis certificate when it comes.
