Inspection and verification

Loading and discharge supervision

Loading and discharge supervision for vessels and barges: a surveyor on the quay from the first grab to the last, with an operations log, daily reports and a final report.

All services

When you cannot be in the port, the surveyor records in your place: start and stop of operations, cause of stoppages, rain, sequence of holds, quantities per shift, separations between parcels. The log sits beside the statement of facts.

What it covers

  • Continuous attendance or by shifts
  • Operations log: times, holds, quantities, stoppages
  • Supervision of separations between parcels
  • Dated photographs and a daily report by email or WhatsApp
  • Findings on incidents: rain on cargo, damage, contamination

How it goes

  1. We agree what is supervised and the rhythm of the reports.
  2. The surveyor takes over the operation at the start.
  3. Daily report; on incidents, an immediate call.
  4. Final report on completion.

What you receive

The operations log and the final report, with photographs. The report separates what the surveyor saw from what the terminal or the vessel reported.

Questions about this service

Do you cover round-the-clock operations?

Yes, in shifts. The log passes from one surveyor to the next without a gap.

Does it include sampling?

Not automatically. They are two mandates; we often combine them, but we write them separately.

At a glance

Hour by hour, in the log
